Do you have What it Takes to Become an Entrepreneur?

You are ready to start your new business, but are you really prepared for what comes next? I am not trying to discourage anyone from following their entrepreneurial dreams; I am simply bringing a dose of reality to the discussion. Too many desperate professionals base their entrepreneurial endeavors on a "get rich quick" scheme and expect to make millions within months without expending any time. Though you will invest less time and money into succeeding in an internet business than any other business model, it still requires hard work and dedication.

Drive

Are you focused and driven to succeed? If not, you will never reach your goals. Obstacles arise that will challenge your resolve and unless you are focused on your future goals you will give up too soon. Your inner drive will take you to places you never dreamed possible. How bad do you want it? Are you willing to sacrifice a little more time in the beginning to enjoy amazing future rewards? If you said yes, you possess the desire to make it as an entrepreneur.

Determination

Determination is what drove Lance Armstrong to become one of the most celebrated athletes of our time after battling cancer and many other struggles. It is what drove Arnold Schwarzenegger to defy his critics and become a national icon and a political figure. These people are ordinary people. They do not possess special skills. They simply understand where an attitude of determination can take them and at all costs they were determined to succeed.

Action

You can possess a ton of desire but if you do not take action, your dreams will never become a reality. In order to become an entrepreneur you must forgo the analysis of making sure things are lined up perfectly before you take action. Your ability to continue moving forward will determine your ultimate success. Too many people get caught up in analyzing decisions because they are afraid of making mistakes and as a result they are stuck and never gain ground.
In the beginning of your venture, you are not going to know everything required to become an entrepreneur. I am still learning after all of these years. The only way to truly learn is to DO something! If you make a mistake, you know it was a wrong choice. If it grows your business, you know it was a right choice and you proceed in that direction and apply more resources to that end. The plan is simple: Drive, determination and action. The ball is in your court. If you want to become a successful entrepreneur then do whatever it takes to make it happen.
